Monica Dogra, an American singer and actress of Indian origin. She is one half of the Mumbai-based electronic rock duo Shaa'ir and Func. She made her acting debut in the Bollywood film Dhobi Ghat.
What started as an initial quest to become a singer eventually led to a variety of things; Monica Dogra as we know today is not just a singer. She’s an actor, a musician, a model, a designer, a writer, While at the same time she is quite the stunner. For Monica, 2016 started off with a great start in Bollywood, with 2 films- Changez and Tera Suroor 2 releasing this year. However, for Monica music is and shall remain her first love. She only recently released her single for her album- Spit and is all pumped for the world to see it. Spit, the album's forth song titled Say What You Like which released on the 29th of January 2016 and is already making a lot of news.
Sticking to her unique persona, the video has a very deep symbolic representation of freedom, sex and love. Monica not only wrote and sang the song but has single handedly conceptualized as well as produced it. The song, by all means is a thought provoking and sensual video. The video stars no just Monica but a few commoners from the streets of LA which Monica hand picked herself a few months ago. With a deep video as such, the song has an even deeper meaning of life and its struggles.
